David R. Newens, born in 1945, is a prominent British portrait artist. Throughout his career spanning over forty years, David's commissions include portraits of the Baroness Tess Jowell DBE, Lord Falconer of Thornton... and collections of the Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy, Imperial Colledge London... to name a few. BBC2 featured David in its program, the Culture Show Special: The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2011.
